Your doctor i.e pediatrician might recommend therapist for your child. A pediatrician may diagnose autism but often recommend therapy for treatment. A child with autism may face various challenges , some of them include development delays, speech delay, physical problems etc. and may need speech therapy, occupational therapy etc. for same.
